The differing prices are mainly the printing costs of the physical formats, I earn the largely the same on each sale regardless of format. In the hardback version, you get full colour images, the paperback version black and white (though you can still get full colour pdfs of any images from this site). My e-books always contain complete text descriptions of every image included.
